have any of you watched parenthood? my husband and i started watching a few episodes and it's pretty good, but it's the back porch on the house is seriously incredible! i hope to have one like it someday.
my husband planted some flowers in our little patch of backyard that we have last week and i'm hoping they bloom soon! we're also waiting for our blackberry and raspberry plants to begin producing fruit! i'm really hoping to enjoy some jam and fresh berries this summer!
anyways! here's more backyard and garden inspiration:
i cannot get enough of the shoe brand Seychelles. period.
i wore a pair of Seychelles black peep-toe heels to my rehearsal dinner and my mom wore a pair of Seychelles white peep-toes to my wedding!
Seychelles shoes basically embodies every aspect that i love in a shoe. they throwback to an earlier era while still staying unique, romantic, feminine, and modern. what else could you ask for?
their spring collection proves this to be true- with each shoe i browsed, my heart skipped a tiny beat...
chevron hit the map ever since charlie brown made his appearance in the peanuts comics with his iconic black and yellow chevron shirt. the pattern was quiet for some years, but chevron has really made a huge comeback as of late.
It's been a tradition for a few years now that my girls and I get together to watch our girly TV shows once a week. A few years back we really got into So You Think You Can Dance, but lately, it's been Project Runway and Project Runway All-Stars. Every Thursday night we'll lounge on my big green couch, eat some popcorn, and watch with anticipation to see who will get the boot.
This season on All-Stars, there were so many great challenges. Here are some of my favorites from the contestants:
Kenley's gelato flavor inspired dress
Michael C's Night at the Opera dress
Kenley's National Flag Challenge Dress
Mondo's Nanette Lepore Fabrics Dress
Anthony's Miss Piggy Dress
Kenley's Season Romper
Jerell's Night at the Opera Dress
When it came down to the final 3, it was clear that Mondo's hard work throughout the season really pushed him over the edge to beat the other contestants. Here are my favorite looks from each final collection:
Austin's Best Look
Michael's Best Look
Mondo's Best Look
I'm so happy for Mondo's win! He really deserved it after being snubbed by Gretchen in Season 8.
it's that time in my life when all of my friends are having babies! i will also be an AUNTIE for the first time come september!! i am so excited to meet not only one new niece/nephew, but TWO! yes, that's right- i will be an auntie to twins! i can't wait to meet them and it's been on my mind lately. so i've decided to go on an internet hunt for some super stylish kiddos:
