you know it's come to this when you accidentally roll a piece of your hair up into your car window... or you can't put your purse over your shoulder without moving all of your hair over to your other shoulder...

there are a few new things in my life within the past week. i tend to get bored with things when my husband is gone and i change around our house or do some damage online shopping... yep- that's a good confession right there. here are the new things in my life in just the past week:

up until last fall, i had bangs since sophomore year of college! i decided to grow them out to do that cute 70s farrah fawcet hair, but yeah... with my hair type, it never looks as voluminous. let's face it, i'm just sick of my hair! i need to get back in my element and bring back the bangs.... and maybe a new hair color. here's some pin-spiration :)

what does your summer 'do look like?

the past few weeks have been super busy! this also means i've been snoozing my alarm longer than i'm supposed to... this also means i've been going to work with some bedhead happening. don't get me wrong, i always put makeup and a decent outfit on before work- it's just the hair that is the most time-consuming which means it's the thing that gets the least amount of attention! here are some fun bedhead looks:
