printed fabric

it's dangerous.

joann's is about a block away from my work. so where do you think i go on lunch? yeah...

there are SO many fun fabrics and prints there- i could spend the day just looking at and touching the fabrics on display. problem is- i buy fabric then never make anything with it. next step is to have an intention to make something and THEN buy fabric... it's tough. (first world problems, right?)

marni for h&m

this 60s retro mod look mixed with a bohemian chic look has really captured my vintage-meets-modern heart... so much so that i can't stop looking at pictures of the marni collection at h&m. how gorgeous are these looks?

anyone else love the mixing of the prints as much as i do?

mixing prints

wearing mixed prints is something that can be very tricky! one of my goals is for one- buying more items with prints, and two- trying to put outfits together with prints that work. i think the goal is to use one same color in each print and to have the prints be as different as possible (stripes and floral, floral and polka-dot, small print and tiny print, etc). here's some print mixing that works!
