summer treats: watermelon popsicles

do you remember these? i still could not find the watermelon popsicle, but it was my favorite treat from the ice cream man growing up! it was more of a creamy ice cream sort of pop... and the seeds were chocolate chips! yum!

what was your favorite treat from the ice cream man?

summer treats: mint chocolate chip ice cream

it's probably one of my faves... i'm not normally a huge chocolate person, but chocolate mixed with mint, i will take any day!

plus, both my 100% italian great-grandfather along with my husband's 100% italian grandmother loved andes mints. must run in our blood.

summer treats: flintstone push ups

remember flintstone push ups? the traditional fred orange pop was the most popular on the scene, but i loved the variety pack with bam-bam's red/pink pop and barney's purple pop. i think purple was my favorite.... eating these out in the backyard in the summer with your friends was the coolest! so here is my next summer treat inspiration: flintstone push ups!

i've been inspired by some great summertime treats lately! c'mon, the second you heard that music from the ice cream man when you were little, you knew that was your cue to run out into the street with the dollar allowance you'd saved up from the week! anyways, i've decided to start a little series of outfits inspired by summer treats. this week, it's sorbet! mmmm!
