i've been watching a lot of New Girl lately, and it seems like Jess is in her PJs in every other scene! they are so cute- button up with a cute print and colorful piping- just like the classic pjs from the 50s. ok, so they look a little frumpy, but super comfy! here's my now & then: pajamas!

moonrise kingdom

wes anderson has been pretty quiet since fantastic mr. fox, but he's coming back with moonrise kingdom. his past film, the royal tenenbaums, is one of my favorite movies and this one looks like it could rank just as high. the characters, imagery, and cinematography are so artistic and whimsical... without further ado- you must watch!

up until last fall, i had bangs since sophomore year of college! i decided to grow them out to do that cute 70s farrah fawcet hair, but yeah... with my hair type, it never looks as voluminous. let's face it, i'm just sick of my hair! i need to get back in my element and bring back the bangs.... and maybe a new hair color. here's some pin-spiration :)

speaking of round sunglasses, one of my favorite style icons is rachel zoe! i love her show the rachel zoe project on bravo and really hope they have plans for another season! how awesome would it be to play dress up all day long? that's basically her job, right? anyways, here she is:
