i saw this incredible photo on my facebook news feed from another photographer friend of mine- tamara reynolds. so i had to investigate. i found out that it came from a 1940s photographer stanley kubrick. here are a few more of my favorites:

Goodness. I love Stanley's work so very much. One of my photo professors showed us his work during a portion in our class where we discussed street photography. Even after all these years, his images stand alone in time and are gorgeous. Something all us photographers should aspire to.
