summer is upon us (and heck, it definitely feels like it in nashville!), so i thought it would be nice to soak up what's left of spring by showcasing some gorgeous spring flowers on the blog today! here they are:

color scheme: pink yellow mint

from age 5-12, my bedroom was light pink and seafoam green (aka mint). even though the wallpaper consisted of dancing ballerina bears, i think the color scheme has stuck with me! here is my pink and mint (with a splash of yellow) color scheme inspiration:

cameos

i've become enamored by cameos! the day my husband proposed to me in venice, i fell in love with a cameo ring in a local shop. after our back and forth banter with the shop owner over our italian heritage, my then boyfriend decided to buy the ring for me! i was sooo thrilled! after admiring it on my finger, i exclaimed, "i've never owned a ring this expensive!" little did i know that he would give me an even more expensive ring that very night! the ring is so special to me and i wear it every day along with my engagement/wedding rings. i hope to start a small cameo collection soon and here's more inspiration:
